Vacancy Description

As a growing company, Phoenix Resourcing Services (PRS Jobs) are looking for the right candidate to carry out administration duties in their office based in central London. As a Level 2 Administrative Assistant, you will be making sure that the day to day office duties are run smoothly and effectively with duties including:

• Answering the telephone and dealing with customers and clients in a professional, confident manner
• Giving accurate and concise instructions to candidates on location of jobs and interviews.
• Checking references
• Chasing missing timesheets/hours
• Weekly mailshots to candidates via email
• Dealing with payroll queries and checking weekly payroll
• Writing CV’s & profiles

This is an ideal position for a committed and confident individual who is looking to start their career in administration within a recruitment setting.

You will be training whilst working with a company which looks after its staff and offers an opportunity to progress whilst gaining a recognised qualification in business administration.

Entry Requirements

GCSEs grades A – C in English, Maths and ICT


To be an administrative assistant you will need to have:
• An organised approach and excellent time management skills
• Computer literacy and good typing skills
• The ability to use your own initiative
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and prioritising Skills
• Customer service skills on the telephone
• IT Literate

As our apprentice you need;

• The ability to take instruction and work to deadlines
• A confident telephone manner when dealing with customers
• To demonstrate flexibility to do a range of tasks
